Your point is well taken, I think.

But anyone can cherry pick 2* that have gone on to play in the NFL.

This sentence actually supports what I was trying to point out. Since "anyone" can find 2* players that have made it to the NFL it must happen on a consistent basis. I fully understand the premise that greater success is ultimately achieved with a higher percentage of 4* players.

Dude, this has been broken down multiple times the past couple of years. I don't think you understand the statistics.

There are 1000s of 2*s every year.
There are about 1000s of 3*s.
There are a couple hundred 4*s.
There are just a few 5*s.

So a handful of 2*s out of 1000s, not very good odds.

Getting a quack from Cunningham and Hunt would be so, so sweet right about now. But let's be honest. No way either of them are coming here. It's crazy. Chip leaving is almost as if we've been hit by the death penalty. Reduced visitss, small recruiting class, transfers, decommits, etc, etc... As Oregon fans we need some stability and some good god damn news!!!

Step away from the ledge my Duck brother. The ONLY decommit or transfer we've had because of Chip is Chip. And Azz i suppose.

I'm somewhat confident on Hunt but that is based on his tweet last night...Cunningham is a long shot but a visit is betta than nothin...we gotta think positive, it's gonna be a long 3 weeks to see whether or not we'll continue to rule the Pac! I guess we'll find out how much these recruits REALLY love Oregon...whether they stay or not. Fasten ur seat belt...it could bumpy!
