Max Browne comitting?

  • Interesting. I'm predicting USC, personally.

Ted Miller is currently chiding Fuskie fans on twitter about their, "Meh, don't need him" attitude. If they let an in-state prospect of his caliber slip away, they should be totally embarrassed. It's so very rare that players like him (or Lyerla or Tyner, for that matter) come out of this region and to have another school come in and scoop him out is just pitiful, IMO. That's why I'm glad we locked down Lyerla like we did, and hopefully Tyner stays firmly committed all the way to NSD.

And for the record, I don't feel the least bit guilty about snagging J-Stew from Fuskie territory biggrin

Sarkisian failed to keep a lot of top notch prospects home last year...already starting off bad this year.

Side note, that kid is fugly.

Yeah don't usually like to go at kid personally, but he kinda looks like a goof. Gonna be a far cry from the pretty boys USC has had in the past at the helm.

  • I live a couple miles away from Skyline and have caught a couple of games the last couple of years. This dude is amazing to watch in person, even better than Heaps looked.

USC is like a german car, every piece that breaks is of the highest quality.

They did pick up 2 very good QB's last year. Depth chart at QB can be a major factor, and with Miles especially and Linquist to a lesser extent that depth chart could be tough for a freshman to crack.

  • What school did he choose? Anyone know?

  • Wont happen for 15 minutes or so.

  • And he chose USC, no shocker there.

    Ducksfanmh11

  • Wow what a surprise!!! I thought he was definitely going to Evergreen.

Saw the twitter pic of him in his USC gear, this kid is beanpole. But obviously he's the number 1 QB on 247, just an observation.

  • Condom nation is very fortunate that Barkley came back, cuz his back ups aren't very good.

They will be hurtin for certain next year.

Plus, there's still 4 light years to NSD and anything and everything is possible.

  • How do you know SC backups aren't any good? You were the same ND fan saying SC wouldn't be able to run on nd, and look how that turned out.

Browne is 6'5 and 210 lbs. With one redshirt year in the program he will definitely put on some muscle and size for when he takes over.

Most guys reach their physical peaks once they get into a div-1 training program.

Well, I read all their practice reports, and so far neither 1 of the back ups has staked their claim to the #2 spot. Also, neither 1 of them has completely grasped the playbook yet, and if they "had" to start the season, the coaches would be more then slightly concerned.

And yes, I did make that stupid claim. I guess I expected too much from ND's 3 starting freshman d-lineman. I got alittle over zealous with ND being a 9 point favorite. This year I'll be sure to keep my pie hole shut.
