They aren't changing the offense, just the tempo. They aren't moving to a spread option attack, although their offense already contains some of that. It will be the same offense, just having sequences run at higher tempo. they did some of this last year, and were pretty effective.
Conversely, they hope this conditions their defense to the high-tempo attack of others...read UO.
It will be interesting to see how effective it is.

Mutts changing offense to be more like Oregon's
