For starters, I'm not a fan at all of how the tournament selection committee seeded the tournament, in general. I thought there were a number of very questionable decisions made with regard to seeding with a number of different schools.
As it pertains to Oregon, I think it's a double-edged sword for the Ducks. The 12-seed is a major shocker and facing a very good Oklahoma State team is going to be an enormous challenge in the 1st round...BUT if Oregon gets past the Cowboys, they basically assume the position of a 5-seed and a run to the Sweet 16 is easily within reach. In fact, you could argue that Oklahoma State has the bigger gripe here as the Ducks will almost assuredly have home court advantage Thursday in San Jose.
Should be an interesting tournament...
