Passing game ready for next level?

  • With Bennett and Mariota at QB and DAT, Huff Blackmon, Sumler, Kelley, Vaughn, Stanford, Addison, and Allen at WR,...Lyerla, French, White*, Baylis, and Brown and TE, its time to open up the passing game. Time for the group to take it to the next step. Arguably 4-star talents across the board. Need to develop a consistent and dynamic downfield passing game.

    Yeah baby, but you probably know that maybe french with that 4.3 speed could end up playing linebacker and you know Colt could become an All American at outside LB, but yeah some really good depth to have, I was wrong about getting Shaq but with the talent we have I mean come on one recruiting site has us at 12 which if you really think about it thats not that far from the top, so here it goes with the talent were starting to get on both sides of the Lines we will be alot better and I'm sorry but last years loss to USC was just a undisiplined team that really should have won that Game. So with all that I believe SC no way wins that game down south and possably were in the Natty again or at least 4 team playoff, no wonder Chip decided he had unfinnished business. GO DUCKS!

    "Develop a consistent and dynamic downfield passing game". Yes, that will be the burning question mark of 2012 team.... and what many of us are waiting to see. Definitely a key ingredient if we are to accomplish the lofty goal for this years team. And not just the thrower's but the catcher's also need to show us what they can do (Huf's mid-season injury thank goodness LT came through for us at season end when it counted the most). No surprise that the passing game of each candidate will go a long way in determining which Qb will get the most PT. Can't wait for spring practice to see who is likely to emerge as the starter. Shaping up to be a quite a battle.... and I have been put on notice not to count any of the candidates out of the race. It's Great to Be a Duck!
