Pisarcik details his Oregon pledge

I could give two sh*ts if he was a 2 star. That statement is what I care about.

This board is just too damn contentious ... we're all Ducks ... Geez ...

Big reason why people don't stick around (I'll be leaving shortly and won't miss it one bit). You can get so much free recruiting information elsewhere, why waste your time and money on grown men gossiping and speculating about 17 year old boys? Plus the "Expert updates" have been boring and non value-added. coffee

I'm a star chaser, I won't lie, but that's only because generally they are rated a certain way for a reason. This kid is a beast and I would even call it a sexy commitment. He doesn't wait for players to come to him he meets them an drives them where he wants them to go.

This just isn't true. If you look at the 2012 All Pac 12 Team, 3 star recruits make up a majority of the list with ZERO, I repeat ZERO 5 star guys making it

The information provided on any of the FREE boards doesn't hold a candle to the insight, analysis and updates done on this site day in and day out.

  • Sweet!

I now get to revise my statement, instead of "Our 3 stars are beating your 5 stars..."

Now I can say "Out two stars are beating your 5 stars!"

Recruiting is more than imperfect with positional changes, late bloomers and all kinds of factors. Generally the rating 'services' base grades on known commodities but it's difficult for them to evaluate what they haven't seen.

Glad he wants to be a Duck and is willing to work at getting better. Makes all the difference!

Yes that is correct. Though a person with an uninformed opinion and a little rough around the edges would think $17 for a 5th is high end stuff.

Makes sense...since there are 500+ 3*s and how many 5*s per year?.....not to mention how many 5*s do PAC teams, sc included, get per year?

LOL! At $17 a 5th it is a good buy, not Grey Goose, but not bad. A short drive out of OLCC country and you can get a 1/2 gallon for the same price.

I have to agree with ChucktheDuck24. I paid for a couple of years (give or take) and put up with a dwindling of "news" about Oregon recruiting. Yes, the gap of Oregon not getting any "quacks" for a prolonged period of time isn't DT's fault, but when they opened up free access for a trial period to new subscribers was the final straw. I know, the last time this offer came DT offered to give paying subscribers free access if we chose. Instead of jumping through that hoop it was easier to just stop my subscription.

I once thought DT was really good at reporting recruiting news, but I no longer feel that way FWIW. As to your statement Justin, "The information provided on any of the FREE boards doesn't hold a candle to the insight, analysis and updates done on this site day in and day out," I remember your prediction early on when you said the Ducks would get commits from Vanderdoes and Pagano and I believe a couple others that blew up in front of us. That insight didn't work very well did it?

In closing, I still check out the site once in a while, but not being a paying member does not allow me to read too much content. Oh well, I'll get my information elsewhere.

    Go Ducks!

Is there a reason 80% of this post was edited aka deleted without my knowledge? I didn't attack anyone and made good points. You can just straight take the words from my post out?
