I agree with orsports2. I watched the women's volleyball team take some tough losses recently as they were ranked as high as #2. It was the little things which killed them. Anyway....The guys still have a ton to play for and can clean up a bunch of mistakes in this weeks practices. It ain't over til the fat lady sings. I really believe that phrase.
I agree with debtfree about the little things. I was at the Oregon UW vollyball game Friday night and the Ducks had at least a dozen match points and kept letting UW back in. A net ball on the serve in the 4 game cost them the match as they would have won on the next point. Same with football...........turnovers, ill timed big penalties and lack of concentration will cost you games real easy. It was a combination of things with Stanford. We can and probably will beat OSU but it won't be easy and will require an almost error free game

It is a tough loss to swallow but I for one am very proud of my ducks. Things don't always go your way and all you can do is man up and move on to what you have control over.
Yes I'm terribly disappointed still but we all still need to remember this is a young Team, that let the heat of the moment get to them, I still think it's a joke that Bama can jump to NO.2 when they played NOBODY saturday, Here's hoping SC Beat's Notre Dame and UCLA, Beat's Stanford, I believe they are all still capable of happening, of coarse this Team now with a little pressure off of them can now go to Corvallis and maybe the O Line can actually Block this time along with the receiver's, because reality is this that was the ugliest performance by the O yet and all i9n all Mariota played pretty good considering everyone else around him pretty much stunk it up If all these thing's fall into place mostly UCLA Beating stanford which I believe they will, then UCLA will be ranked at least NO.7 and the Duck's should move up at least to No.3 so realistically Oregon could still get to Miami, If Notre Dame loses Saturday and oregon takes care of business. Last note on my mind is this Chip Kelly I believe should take the WHOLE BLAME for the LOSS, because I think it stink's with what he's been given here at Oregon and is still getting, the part I'm most disapointed in is this NFL CRAP that he just does nothing about, I look at it as this he think's he's better than the Oregon Label. Kid's gotta be wondering if he's leaving and you can't tell me this does not affect these kid's performance's on the field, and it really is hurting us in recruiting. So as far as I'm concerned he's staying cause he was asked if the Duck's could win a Championship and he said yes, well I'm sorry but his inability to Coach over his EGO is really frustrating to watch, and he's his own worst enemy when he keep's doing the same stupid calls that weren't working to begin with. I believe this also Mark Helfrich could be the next best Coach here without the EGO and believe he's capable of making better Game changing call's to actually pull out win's for this Team! That's just my opinion but I'm sure a lot of you other guy's see a similar scenario going on here with Chip's Coaching that's to hard to ignore!
