An interesting thought occurred to me this morning regarding Shaq's recruitment...
It would appear that what we need to snare Shaq is some negative recruiting against Tosh, but we all know that's not Chip's MO. Knowing Chip, he'll lose a 5* Safety rather than change his style... Enter Cal. Shaq's lifelong favorite, once thought to be the easy-money fav to land Shaq, it now sounds like they're in a distant 4th. They could STILL be the differentiator in Shaq's final decision.
Why? Because there's now some SERIOUS bad blood between Tedford and Tosh now. I cannot think of anything that would sting worse than having your local, prize recruit spurn you for what is now your biggest enemy.
Whether Chip arranges some sort of 'deal' with Cal or whether Teddy just does it all on his own to screw Tosh, I'm thinking/hoping that the Cal staff will spend the next 3 days doing nothing but dumping on Tosh which will hopefully be able to put enough doubt and distrust of him into Shaq's mind that he decides the safest choice is to come to Eugene and help us win a natty!
Sounds a bit like a movie plot, but I think it's entirely possible.

And Justin/D1 start the day out with a bang. I thought I was going to get work done today.
