IMO with this info, Kelley will be the next Duck WR. Perhaps the coaches feel Story is going to stick with his committment to FL. I would think with Blackmon hopefully coming to Eugene, that by having Kelley visit oficially that would be a pretty good indicator of how our WR recruits will look. Sumler, Vaughn, Blackmon, and Kelley are a great group. I also really like how most of them are excited to be Ducks and not wavering at all. (this is based off the assumption that Blackmon has been a silent for a while.)

Just looking at the 25 recruit limit with 19 in the door, and Sumler and Vaughn in the flock leads me to believe their are 2 more spots available at WR, i.e. Blackmon and Kelley, with 4 left for the DL or 3 DL and 1 LB (i.e. Simmons)

Is it possible that the coaching staff is using this as a deadline for story and lee?

Kelley would be a good pickup we already have a pretty good group of recievers in this class, I would love to hear about a d-lineman wanting to come to Oregon and join Ricky Heimuli and Taylor Hart anchor the defensive line in the future. Just think how good we could be with a stout d-line to accompany the lb's and db's that we have coming back.

I have to think that if the coaching staff thought they had a 75%+ chance with Story and Lee then Kelley's trip might be pushed out a bit. I think it is a great thing that he is coming. Like it was mentioned above, makes Story or Lee choose if they want to be a Duck, if not, no problem we get a great kid who WANTS to be a Duck. The icing on the cake is he could be a stud too!

Between Dead Period, Christmas, and the team leaving for Glendale, I'm not sure Kelley could visit before the 14th.

Good point, that's likely the case. I hope we get Kelley, but I wouldn't be too upset if we land so many big prospects we don't have room for him
