In regards to close games, you guys beat USC by less than a TD. We beat Stanford fairly and beat the crap out of Oklahoma in Norman...not sure Oregon would pull that off.

    I think Oregon is very talented and hope to get a chance to play Oregon in the NC before Coach Chip goes to the NFL next year and Oregon looks more like Wash St again.

Everyone who follows CFB knows that Stanford got screwed and scored that TD. I definitely would not say you beat them "fairly" as you put it. Only people who think otherwise are ND fans. Good luck with SC. Personally, I see your weak secondary being exposed. SC wins by at least 14 and ruins your NCG dreams. Oregon will be in Miami, but we won't be playing ND. I honestly hope we do play you guys in the NCG. We would crush you!!!

    While you are welcome here, you should come with some actual knowledge and some fact checking. We beat USC by eleven after they scored with one second remaining (meaningless points) . We also rolled up sixty three points and seven hundred and thirty yards of offense. That is something no one, including Notre Dame (in their illustrious history) has ever done against USC. This team is on pace to shred college football scoring records and has the largest margin of victory totals of any team in the country. We haven't needed double overtime to hope a mediocre team misses a field goal so we can pull off a victory. Thanks for stopping by but brush up on your facts before you come back.

    Notre Dame is ranked behind Oregon and K State because they are not as good as Oregon or K State. Deal with it.

  • Actually,Beauregard, Oregon is a better match-up for ND. You guys seem to have trouble keeping opponents out of the end-zone, particularly efficient running teams. Your saving grace is that you can put up a lot of points as well. ND's strength on offense is time management, running the ball, hard nosed football and keeping your prolific offense off of the field, which admittedly can score on any given play. Did you say pie hole? Wow, didn't realize we were 6th graders in 1993. Anyway, I think it's pretty clear based on the performance as well as the recruiting classes that Brian Kelly is bringing in and the institutional changes he's making in the way the team studies, eats, sleeps, trains, lifts, etc. that ND is back for real this time and that they will continue to compete with the elite of college football again. True, ND has not truly been here since 1993, but you can point out gaps in every program where the team struggled, including Alabama, Florida, Miami recently, etc etc. Anyway, most of you Oregon fans have been class acts all the way, it's always fun to share experiences and information with other programs for the love of the game!

I'm glad you guys have found success on the football field after all those years of whatever you want to call it, but you still haven't accomplished jack until you win that Natty.     No, ND is ranked behind Oregon and K-State because we were unranked heading into the season. ND has beat 4 teams that were ranked inside the top 20, with 3 of those being inside the top 15. cheers hope to see you in Miami.

    I'd rather take our elite offense and our above average D then yout terrible offense and your overrated D. SC is going to expose you and humiliate you. If you somehow play us in the natty you will see what it feels like to lose by at least twenty. Oh and by the way, our QB is young as well and he's one of the best in CFB. And thanks for your little article. It still doesn't change thr fact that Stanford scored that TD and you barely beat a terrible team in 3OT. Lol. ND is a joke!!7

    Our Qb is younger, smarter and more talented.

    But just FYI to all Norte Dumb fans our D gives up lots of rushing yards because we had 3 true freshman and a walk on taking 65% of the D-Line snaps.

    Yet when healthy we shut out Arizona, and dismantled NO. 25 Washington.

    Your only undefeated because Pitts(who is an average team in the big east) kick missed.
