Mariota has everyone's attention...I can personally tell you that Phil Knight has been raving about this kid for a long long time. Mariota can run like Dixon but throws a better ball and has a stronger arm. This kid is going to be special.

I liked the way Eric Dungy just seems to keep showing up. He catches the ball, blocks downfield and moves the chains. Not spectacular, but does all the things the team needs to win games. Tacoi Sumler did much the same when he was in.

Slightly off topic but what's a good nickname for mariota?

One thing that stood out to me was the decisiveness and patience of Mariota. Bennett wasn't crisp in his decision making and struggled some with his reads. Mariota didn't hesitate once he made his decision....also was very accurate on his check downs. It seems to be Mariota looks to pass first and Bennett looks to run first. I've been high on Mariota since I saw his highlight videos back when he was in HS. In my opinion, Marcus has the whole package including the rare ability to throw accurately on the run. If Mariota wins the job, I expect Bennett to transfer. He's good enough to play just about anywhere he wants...Marcus is just that special!
