I think that he would be a good option as the third back in this class. I just hope that whoever the third back is will be open to redshirting and waiting their turn without becoming impatient and transferring. I do not see a significant role for a third running back from this class for at least 2, and maybe 3, years.
I know it's tough to discern completely from a small snippet like that but that kid just seemed to have his head on right. Just quality answers all around, nice write up.
Between Johnson and Childs (if the Ducks decide to offer), I don't think too many will argue the quality of the three running backs Oregon intends to bring in. Both players look like they would be excellent fits in the Duck offense.
I love this guy. Definitely more than Childs given the Duck's offense and needs.
