An inside source who is an intern for UO told me that Kimmie over at Dawgman was able to convince BB that his source regarding impending Oregon sanctions is legitimate and that Oregon is going to get the hammer so he'll be able to transfer without sitting a year anyway. She is hot so it must be credible and worth repeating on a message board.

I believe he has to be enrolled in school by the first day of classes. Most of the nation already has or will be starting classes this week. He'd have to find a school that, like us, doesn't start classes until later in September. His options would be pretty limited, but even if he plays the first couple weeks he could still find someplace where he could be eligibile next season.

If he takes the field Saturday, I think it's a safe assumption that he's here for the season, though.

I know there's a feeling like, 'we ain't outta the woods just yet', but when it comes to stuff like this I think you only get to waffle and return once. You lose all the goodwill, self-respect and understanding you've built up if you waver again, then bail. Hoping he stays for himself, not just for the team. it has to be both for him to continue to play at the level we expect from White Chococlate.
