This Can't Be True!!

  • i'm excited there's some good games there, it's better than most years non confrence schedule, Alabama Michigan and Auburn Clemson on Sept 1st, thats good stuff right there.

  • I agree, love some if those matchups. I'm really curious if this is the year Michigan returns to greatness. I think they have a legit shot to win the big 10 and I expect to see them in the Rose Bowl. Should be a great game with Bama.

I don't know, Michigan lost pretty much their entire D-line that carried the team last year. I just don't see Denard being a QB of a great team. Could they win the B10? Of course. Nebraska isn't great, tOSU isn't eligible, Wisconsin is losing a lot, MSU is losing their fair share, etc. I just see it being a down year for the conference.

The only thing I'm pretty sure of about that game is whoever wins it will be overrated in the polls. Not sure why people forget Bama from two years ago was in the same position of losing most their team and ended up a solid but not great 3 loss team.

  • I felt guilty about the Tennessee Tech game but Nichols State? Lmao! If the Beavers roll over on them they should disband the football program.

I agree, good points. I think it is more in my mind that Brady Hoke is a phenomenal coach and will fill the gaps with coached up players.

Don't get me wrong, I respect what Hoke is doing out there and know they're going to be a tough team for years to come, just see them taking a slight step back this year and being very tough the next. No doubt in my mind there are going to be some great games between UM/tOSU/UO/SC in our future. Exciting stuff.

  • Some good games in there that I definitely want to watch. Also some snoozers for sure.

  • Well I started the thread to generate discussion, but any list of "powerhouse matchups" that includes: SMU, North Carolina St., Missouri, ASU, Michigan State twice, UCLA and Clemson loses a lot of luster for me.

they're in disarray right now because Malzahn might leave for the Arkansas job.

I would love it to death if Beavis blew another one next year.

Actually I would prefer UW, and I'm not breathing from a bowl either. lol

I never wish any ill will against riley but it is too funny seeing their fans completely turn on the team

The Doogs are already going to get crushed by LSU.

  • The bad thing about this guys is that I don't see us winning a single one of those games for the PAC. I know we have gotten to the point that we are going to pretty much write our own story here at Oregon regardless of what the other 11 dwarfs do, but it would be nice to have a stronger conference. Don't see ASU with a new coach and new QB doing anything at Mizzou, Nebraska will probably romp a hapless UCLA team with a new scheme and coach again, UW at LSU if laughable, and the fighting Tedfords in the Shoe and Urban - ha not a chance. Doesn't look good again for OOC games for the PAC, again.

The only team I would say has a chance is UCLA. Nebraska is beatable and the Bruins have the talent to make progress, it just depends on if Mora can coach.

  • agree and if it weren't only their second game, after playing Rice, I would give them more of a chance, I just don't see it though being that early in the season.

  • There are only 3 games on that 10 ten list I would watch. I think Bama will thump Michigan.

USC is like a german car, every piece that breaks is of the highest quality.
