  • Great write up Matt. How would you compare Stanford's DBs vs the DBs of CAL. I think that could be the difference maker. I haven't watched much of CAL but I know that would be the major weakness of Furds defense.

Personally I think our WRs should have a great game IF our OLine does their job. Their is no denying their ability vs the run. But I don't see Kenjon being shut down two games in a row.

    Gonna be a great game.

  • Out of all the teams I've seen prep for Oregon, Furd is way up on anybody else. They are touting playing within themselves, gap control and constant penetration. Coach Shaw has got these guys believing. Really is first rate coaching and has a firm grasp on our offense.

That said this is a true game whereas I'm worried. Not to say I don't trust our team but this team mentally has some answers. They know were gonna score on big plays but their determined to fight through it. Shaw is stressing long drives with TD's and solid D will get the win.

Hoping our kids are healthy as I know there prepared and have the motivation and skill to finish. Hoping the kids shock me as usual when I have these jitters. Here's to a 43-20 win. WTD, Go Ducks!

  • Well, with the schedule set in place this year to let our team get better each week this is what we have set ourself up for. Were undefeated, with the title game a possibility, what more could we hope for going into the season? The game is in front of the home crowd, so lets go out and seize this opportunity. I hope the players and coaches go for the throat on this one, they have put a lot of work into the season now go out and WTD!! I think something everyone hasn't concentrated on enough is their redshirt freshman QB Hogan. I think a big key will be coach Aliotti bringing some pressure on him and confusing him. If we get ahead, it will make it tough on Mr. Hogan IMO. Go Ducks!

I agree, we are going to have to force them into passing situations and then let the big guys T off!
