This is pretty much one of those situations that makes me more and more concerned over our recruiting tactics. I've said it before, there is a balance between trusting the coaches and being worried.
I just wish I knew why this stuff seems to keep happening. Good recruits liking us a lot...but other schools get the upper hand because we aren't recruiting the kids hard enough. I know there are other priorities and other kids, and we want kids who want to be here...But how will they want to be here if you don't sell your school to them? What does Alabama do? Because they consistently get really good players in select positions.
Sure, we have our needs as a team and want to recruit based on our team's philosophy and gameplan. But something just feels off about the way we handle recruiting sometimes.
Just my two cents and I ask that no one take it as a "sky is falling" post. Its merely me voicing concern and wishing I knew more so I perhaps could say "ooohhh..I see"

OT, but according to an article on the LSU page, Nkemdiche is in a three way battle between Ole Miss, Bama and LSU with Oregon on the outside. Lmao!!!

This begs the question...do our coaches view DT as a position of NEED this year? We have only offered vandy bostwick and etuale

It got beat out by the obligatory 'the coaches suck they don't know how to recruit blah blah blah, let me be the recruiting coordinator blah blah' nonsense actually.

I support the staff, but it has been an even stranger than usual cycle , I will admit that.
