I had a feeling that it wouldn't be long after he gave up coaching his health would go down hill. Throw on top of it all the stress from the scandal.
His health was bad for a while just hadn't been diagnosed. He I'd a lot of good thing but will be remembered for the horrible things he did, and rightfully so.
It's a dark sad day around the country. He appidamised everything we look for in a coach, and a mentor on and off the field. I'am horribly saddened today and for the horrible sercomstances around his departure. What i would give for 10 minuits in a room with no windows with Sandusky.
If the Joe Sandusky stuff hadn't happened would Joe Pa have been allowed to coach Penn State after death? I can imagine his embalmed remains... sort of like Lenin's Tomb, those shriveled Mexican mummies or King Tut ... peering down from the press box during ball games.
