I think I down voted you last night. Not sure why. I was tipsy and unhappy and disagreed that Chipper was to blame, but that doesn't mean you can't share you opinion. Anyways, my bad. I'll up vote you a couple times this morning to make up for it.

Back to me not thinking chipper was to blame, I thought we were overmatched on the lines going in, so it was a tough game plan to implement. I think the drops, turnovers and penalties made the play calling (and thus chipper) look worse than it was.

I loved how Chipper coached up the players that made mistakes. Him taking to kb (and later dat) for extended periods of time after their mistakes was great.

Anyways, didn't want to anonymously down vote, so I figured I'd explain. Go ducks!

His first year he takes Dennis Dixon from a kid who lots of people didn't want starting to the Heisman favorite. We led the Pac 10 in Offense every year since the day he got here and Now he's doesn't know what he's doing !! WOW !!

Without Chip's incredible coaching we wouldn't have EVEN BEEN IN POSITION TO PLAY IN THOSE GAMES !!
My god his first year he takes us to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 16 years. His second year he takes us to the national CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH FAR LESS TALENT THAN PROBABLY 20-30 OTHER TEAMS OUT THERE !! Is it Chip that's fumbling the ball ? Is it Chip that's getting stupid penalties ?

What Chip has done at Oregon in such a short time is simply amazing !!
